TroTro Verified

Trust is a system, not a badge.

TroTro Verified isn't a sticker a driver gets to keep. It's a structured process every driver moves through before they carry a student — recorded step by step, visible to parents in the app, and enforced by the platform itself.

TroTro driver Trust & Verification screen listing the required checkpoints — identity document, license verification, background check, motor vehicle record, vehicle inspection, and training completion — each tracked with a submission status.

Enforced, not assumed

A route doesn't start unless the driver's verification is current.

Verification isn't a one-time formality. Each driver's status is tracked over time, with expirations monitored — and the app gates route starts on it. If a required checkpoint lapses, the route doesn't run.

The checklist

What every driver's verification tracks

Each driver has a verification record made of required checkpoints. Parents can see the status in the app; operations manages the underlying documents.

  • Identity & license

Identity documents and license verification are recorded as required checkpoints before a driver is cleared to run routes.

  • Driving & vehicle

Motor vehicle record and vehicle inspection are tracked as part of a driver's standing.

  • Background check

A background-check checkpoint is part of every driver's verification record and must be satisfied within the process.

  • Training completion

Training completion is recorded as a checkpoint before a driver runs their first route.

TroTro Verified reflects the checkpoints recorded and enforced in the system. It is not a government certification, insurance, or a guarantee of any outcome.

How the verification system works

  • Structured onboarding

Drivers join by invitation and complete every required checkpoint before their first route.

  • Documented checkpoints

Verification is recorded step by step, with expirations tracked over time — not a one-time stamp.

  • Signed agreements

Drivers and families acknowledge documented expectations before service begins, with versioned, audited acceptance.

  • Visible to parents

A driver's verified status appears in the parent app, alongside their name, photo, and vehicle.

Accountability

Confirmed at the curb, recorded for later.

Trust isn't only who's driving — it's what the ride leaves behind.

  • Geofence-confirmed stops

Pickups and drop-offs are confirmed at the location with GPS evidence — confirmed at the curb, not assumed.

  • Append-only ride records

Every ride leaves a record, with a stop-by-stop timeline parents can review afterward.

  • Issue reporting

Parents can report a ride issue in the app, categorized for operational review.

What it is

  • A structured, recorded verification process each driver completes
